Yesterday (I know, I know... a day late again, but I just want an excuse to share these again the day after lol) was the second day of my two week blog tour, hosted by BooksChatter, woohoo! This one was SUPER fun and I was actually told it was one of the best interviews EVER on this site ;). Talk about making my day! With a soundtrack and behind the scenes photos, you don't want to miss out on this awesome stop on my blog tour =).
Here's a short preview:
Can you tell us something quirky about Fibers, its story and characters?
"I always try to name characters based on names I don’t currently know anyone by, if that makes sense... the last thing I want is for someone I know to read my book and say, “You stole my name!” or, “This is nothing like me!” or whatever the gripe may be. I don’t need that kind of drama! Two tweens provide me with enough drama as it is ;).
However, I will tell you about a weird quirk. I was doing a sort of character sketch or analysis of the main character, Anna Reynolds, a name that I threw together by looking through baby name and surname websites. I asked myself that night, “Who is Anna Reynolds?”
The next morning, I opened my email inbox to find an email from an Anna Reynolds, and the subject line read, “Allow me to introduce myself.”
How creepy is that?!?! lol
